The Plant and its Essence

Eucalyptus globulus
The star of the blend, making up 50% of the formula. This is blue eucalyptus, the species with the highest concentration of eucalyptol (1,8-cineole), the most studied component for its mucolytic and expectorant actions. Native to Australia, it is the tree of deep breathing par excellence.

Ravensara aromatica
Originating from Madagascar, it is a highly potent antiviral oil. Rich in methyl chavicol and sabinene, it is traditionally used for immune support during periods of exposure to viruses and bacteria. It brings balsamic depth to the blend.

Mentha arvensis (Corn Mint) 
Wild mint, with a higher menthol concentration than peppermint. It acts as a rapid decongestant and enhances the perception of open airways. It is the fresh and immediate note felt on the first breath.

Biochemical Profile

Eucalyptus Globulus Oil (50%) — The dominant component. It carries most of the eucalyptol (1,8-cineole) in the blend — the most documented monoterpene for its action on the upper and lower respiratory tracts.

Eucalyptol / 1,8-cineole (20–50%) — Mucolytic, expectorant, and bronchodilator. Reduces mucus viscosity, facilitating its elimination. Documented antiviral and antibacterial action against various respiratory pathogens. It is the main component of this synergy.

Limonene (5.9%) — Immunostimulant. Supports the immune response and adds a bright, fresh note to the overall aroma.

Menthol (4.5%) — Activates cold receptors (TRPM8), creating an immediate sensation of openness and decongestion. Local analgesic and anti-inflammatory action.

Pinene (4.85%) — Alpha and beta-pinene, natural bronchodilators. Increase bronchial permeability and enhance the action of eucalyptol. Contribute to the fresh, resinous aromatic note.

Terpineol (3%) — Antiseptic and antifungal. Contributes to air purification when diffused.

Main Action

On the respiratory system: Eucalyptol (the dominant component) reduces mucus viscosity, facilitates breathing in cases of nasal and bronchial congestion, and has an anti-inflammatory action on the respiratory mucosa.

As an environmental antiviral and antibacterial: Diffusing this blend purifies the air from pathogens present in the environment. Eucalyptol, pinene, and terpineol act synergistically on airborne viruses and bacteria.

On the immune system: Limonene supports the immune response. Ideal during periods of increased exposure to colds, flu, and seasonal infections.

Immediate decongestant effect: Menthol acts in seconds on cold receptors, providing an immediate perceptual sensation of an open nose and chest.

How to Use It

Environmental diffusion (recommended use) The most effective way to purify the air and support the respiratory system in the environment.

Ultrasonic diffuser (cold mist): 4–6 drops in water

Oil burner: 3–5 drops in the water tray

Recommended session duration: 15–30 minutes

Dry diffusion 2–3 drops on the sponge or pad of a fan diffuser.
Recommended session duration: 15–20 minutes.

Conscious inhalation Place 1–2 drops on a tissue or in your hands. Bring to your nose, close your eyes, breathe slowly and deeply. Ideal for moments of acute congestion or mental fatigue during the day.

Safety and Warnings

Children: Do not use in diffusion in the presence of children under 6 years of age. Eucalyptol and menthol can cause respiratory spasm in small children. For children between 6 and 12 years, reduce to 2 drops and limit the session to 10–15 minutes in well-ventilated rooms.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Consult a doctor before use. Avoid prolonged use.

Epilepsy: Avoid in cases of epilepsy — eucalyptol in high concentrations can lower the seizure threshold.

Allergies: This product contains cosmetic allergens subject to mandatory declaration under Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009: Limonene (5.9%) · Linalool (0.05%). Always perform a patch test before topical use.

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat sources. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of skin irritation, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
